How many employees do I need for my stores?

Some questions seem easy and many supervisors and store managers as well as managers think they are clear.

The first question I’m sure when opening a new store is: How many employees do I need for each of my stores?

The question can not be simpler, however the correct answer is to answer another series of questions:

How many employees do I need? When do I need them? To do what?

They are a series of questions that we must ask ourselves to do a correct management of personnel in our store

These are questions that we must ask consecutively about when employees should be During the whole stretch of opening to the public? Before opening? After closing?

And what will be the functions of workers during their workday Do I have to be in the store or do I need them to be with a defined task, be it sale or any maintenance / replacement?

Working days, vacations, overtime …

The next thing that comes into play is that all employees may not have the same number of contracted hours …

Some of them, at some point should take a vacation.

In case of not closing on Sundays, they will have to free someday. Which day is the most appropriate? Is it the one they prefer?

Some will accept or would like to do overtime, others will not allow it.

Finally the question that seemed easy, turns out not to be so much.
